Putting FR-S wheels on a Celica ain't fooling anybody, pal.

Sure that's not the new FT-1 concept?

Actually looks pretty good. If I ever get around to it, my plan is to get a 2.5rs as a winter car and it will be running the stock FRS wheels I have since they've got the snows mounted on them.

I don't know why anyone would want FRS rims. I think they are pretty fugly

My least favorite generation Celica. It's as if Toyota just gave up. And so they did, I guess: it was the last one.

That actually sounds like a cool plan. I think they'd look better on the 2.5 of course haha.

Definitely. I drove one a while back and it just seemed subpar. Like if the styling was suggesting a degree of sporting pretension the car just couldn't cash.

They did give up, just like mitsubishi gave up on the 3rd gen eclipse

My favorite styling wise, most hated in terms of power plants.

I'm just glad there's one less BRZ/FRS with those hideous factory wheels.

I currently drive an '03 Celica. Its a pretty fun quick car. Just wish it was rear wheel drive. The traction is pretty bad though. I lose grip all the time

talked to a guy this morning with an FR-S. He said its great but "has wayyyy too much power in the snow, but that's the sports car lifestyle"
It was hard not to choke on my water

If it is a Celica GT-S, it's probably faster in a straight line than the FR-S.

The only BRZ owner I've met says insists it's "made of carbon fiber."

That's too funny. Once I had a brz owner tell me that he had more horsepower than my wrx because turbo's lower horsepower to raise torque

we got hit by a freak blizzard this morning but it had the stock wheels and tires still. I think the snow was the first time he ever felt the wheels slip

It appears the fanboyism hasn't stopped inflating.
For the record, I dusted the brz from a roll starting at 50 mph. I just floored it in 4th, as he went through the gears
